Does anyone use the 20th fret low E.. ever?

i have one part in one song where i do a two octave slide, 1-25 on the E, then hold that top A for a bar. it sounds aweeeeesome. but we basically had to write the entire mid8 round that one moment so yea... outside of weird bits like that, never. outside of fills? NEVER.

You have a 26 fret bass ??? and if you do ... the 25th fret of the E string would be a F.

use it for chords or soloing. You can also use it to get different tonal qualities off the same note. Playing on the E string will naturally give you a different tonal quality as if you played the exact same note in other strings.
