Does mesa allow stores to sell on line?

They don't seem to like the idea of people buying their products at all. I walked into Mesa Hollywood with my Fodera in a gig bag. Looked around, found a couple of heads I'd like to try. Looked around. One guy was goofing off, the other was busy chatting with some buddies. Neither even glanced over at me.

That's just fine. I can certainly give my money to Aguilar, Thunderfunk, Euphonic Audio or any other company happy to have me try their product with dealers happy to get me in front of those products to try out.

About a month ago the GC up the highway had two Walkabouts sitting out for $419 each. These were probably floor models that no longer worked. I always insist on gear in the factory sealed cartons when shopping there. You wouldn't believe the abuse these things go through on a Saturday afternoon at GC.

Nio, that's too bad-I don't doubt your story but-
I've been to the store several times, and they have been very cool- No hard sell, asked me if I had ??'s, and encouraged me to try out anything I wanted to. WAY more pleasant than a chain, and way more focused than a lot of shops.
Also, their Tech (Jim, I think?) has been helpful with advice,
and knows his business.
The factory is always helpful,(busy, tho) and overall, Mesa has built a rep as a smaller "player-friendly" company.
They've come up with a pretty solid line of products for the Bassist in recent years as well,with the M-Pulse, Scout, etc.
Too bad you got a 'tude when you were there; I don't get it-
That's not what the company seems to be about....

I've pretty much either been ignored or ackowledged when I walked in and little else. I wasn't buying at the time so it wasn't any big deal. Didn't care for it when I was wanting to try stuff to decide on what I'd end up buying. I'm glad to hear you've had better luck than me. I may end up wandering through there again but *shrug*. They really don't have much of my interest at this point.
