Five string Fender Jazz with '70s pickup spacing and a maple neck?

I know what you're thinking! I know it! The Squier VM '70s bass! The one with the natural finish! I didn't like it though... At least, I didn't like the one I tried. And, then again, it was at Guitar Center, so it definitely wasn't set up right...... I don't know, I'm just babbling at this point, so I'll just be quiet.....

Check out the Lakland Darryl Jones 5 banger. A solid, somewhat cheaper option (and imho a better sounding bass than the marcus miller)
