Does this bass exist?

Was having a "dream bass" chat today and we cam up with this bass. What's the closest spec you can think of in production.

35" scale 4 string
MM/P pups
J neck
Perfect hands off balance
Medium weight (8-10lb)
Active/passive switching

So guys, does it exist?

I have no idea if that exists, but my dream would be a Jackson Kelly bass with Warwick Corvette string/fretboard/Pup scales and measurements. 5 string of course.

To your exact specs, nope. It would be a cakewalk for most builders.

Is the Sandberg 35" scale? I was going to suggest that but though it was 34"

You can mod your way to it or have it built to a very high standard... but off the shelf I dunno

if you lose the 35" requirements you can get a PJ bass or PH off the shelf fairly easily.

You can make that bass relatively easy (34" scale though)

P bass body
Route it for MM pup
Put jazz neck on it
Install pre-amp on it with an active/passive switch.


My dream bass is pretty simple:

P body, slab style
Jazz neck, maple fretboard
PJ pups
Lacquer finish in a funky color (orange, purple, vibrant green or turquoise)
Black pickguard
6-8 pounds total
