Does this look like a Warmoth body to you guys?

I asked him what proof he had that this was a Warmoth body and what wood it was. He said his "proof" was that the body was found on a box that said Warmoth on it. Have any of you seen Warmoth bodies without the logo in the neck pocket?

Actually, if you ask them to, Warmoth will leave any rout out of the body, someone could have asked for the neck pocket not to be routed.

Yes. If it is a Warmoth it looks like it's probably what they call a Dinky J style.

if you follow the "found in box" logic, I know of many "Fender" basses from the 60's that were shipped without a logo. Wanna buy one?


now if the guy can provide a receipt that Warmoth will authenticate as real, and this receipt states the purchaser ordered a J bass body without a neck pocket ... well, you would have a 50% chance it was a Warmoth body

VW owns part of Porsche not the other way around. IIRC its 49%

FYI!!!

actually Warmoth can leave out anything BUT the upper left neck mount hole (looking at the face) because the CNC machine keys off that hole (but they can plug it with a dowel).
