One of my cats has had this problem before. Taking your cat to the vet is a good idea. It might be something as simple as changing the diet (which I did with one of my cats who's now on an expensive "prescription" diet), also giving the cat laxatone or a little bit (~1/4 tsp) of metamucil to help things um, pass. Also, if your cat isn't brushed often, it can ingest fur which can cause a blockup.

So, it might not be a big deal, but a trip to the vet is in order to make sure it isn't.

I agree with cassanova that it's likely the anal glands that are causing the problem. I had a Cornish Rex that had the same problem. You have to have the vet take care of that problem.

If ya want to save money on toilet paper, throw all women out of your house. A roll can last me weeks... when my girlfriend is over for a while though I can go through 6 months worth in a week. I'm tellin ya, they don't know how to spend our money first. Women.
