Tele and les Paul are surprisingly interchangeable in a pinch. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen an electric guitarist without at least one backup on stage.Seems to be a lot of bassists on here that bring backups of almost everything. I don’t think I’ve seen guitarists ever bring backups other than a set of strings. If they bring two guitars, it’s for two different sounds like a tele and a Les Paul.

Or the guitarist my kid used to play with who'd forget his guitar. In NYC. When the gig was in Boston.I’m lucky if my guitarist remembers to bring a cable and a pick, so forget about a backup guitar or amp

I don’t bring backups of anything. Neither does my guitarist. The lead singer always has at least 2 acoustics tho.![]()
