You are not.

These basses are the best kept secret on TB.

Second to none, they are simply fantastic.

This thread will make me sad that I do not own one (yet). Commence with the depressing pornobassographic images please :D

I have a custom DG bass....
Mine is a custom color as well. It's called Trans Cherry Tobacco Burst. And that is a Braz board. Electronics: P-vol, J-vol, push-pull active/passive, Treble, Bass; Aguilar OBP-2. I ordered it Dec 2009 and received it Dec 24th, 2010! The actual bass run was 15 total, mine is #6 of the run. I believe that the run only took about 4-5 months but they were swamped making guitars and had to work in the bass run at the same time. Bass runs are not normal. So when they come up you have to act fast. I had ordered a Retro Classic guitar and when the bass run was mentioned, I had first dibs because they knew I wanted one. I ordered thru Dave's Guitar Shop...who also placed the order for my guitar.

I'm thinking of going with a Fralin dual J for an upcoming build.

Can you describe it?

Is it like a MM? Higher output J? How different is it from a single J?

I know, lotsa questions, but thanks in advance for any description you can offer!!

Since Grosh seems to have use these the most as well, a description may spur some potential Grosh owners into action :)
