Donating instruments

I'm not sure if this is the right forum section or not but thought I would ask here first. I have a lot of bass parts and a lefty so selling things isn't always easy. I have enough old parts to put a decent Warmoth lefty 4 together and would like to donate it here in the US. I have donated to a local rock school already and also to a group that supported troops with instruments.

Is there anywhere else that might take an instrument that we can ship to ?

Before you ship, how about a local Goodwill?
If there’s any music gear of any value(or not), they may put it online…

Why not talk with your local high school music department? See if there are any local kids who play lefty.
