I work in a Trauma 1 Er. I've had friends die of overdoses. I don't understand. Could you explain to those with less "experience" then you?

I'm looking into my crystal ball. I predict an angry thread discussing the unconstitutionality of drug screening for employment. Within that thread will be eleventy studies that PROVE that weed will cure everything and eliminate crime.

In your ER you don't see the damage these "people" cause to others so directly.

Work as a clinical supervisor (with access to all charts, clinical staffings, client's backgrounds, etc) in a community based mental health center for years, and you may see why I'm ALL for weeding these filthy society killers out.

EDIT of my own: Condoms don't mean squat. Many of the beauties I've worked with wanted to squirt out more puppies so they get more assistance to buy more drugs.
