I can do that too...
Switched from 1 6-space molded rack to 2 4-space rack bags for easier portability. Having the PowerAmp in it's own bag made a big difference in my aging shoulders. One way I needed 1 more slot, this way I had one extra so I added a 'crowd hypnotizer'... aka 2 bars of lights pumping as I play.

question: Ive been looking at those VF-1's for some time instead of the Boss floor units. What do you think of yours ?

I've got two of these gator rack bags.
One with the TFB and a tuner, one with a wt800b and a tuner...

I was just curious how you guys would compare a rack bag to a typical hard case. Protection, weight, easy of carrying it? I need a 4-space to carry my GK 700RB II and a power conditioner and tuner, and this came up on my search.
Back when I had racked setups, I stupidly went from a Gator rack bag to a Road Ready rack case. I couldn't stand moving it. The rack bag on a shoulder and the bass in a hand is the way to do it.
