Double baffle cab

Both are good afaik.

The fliptops stuff is more or less a historical reproduction. Vintage Blue is very much an update to the design based on the owner/operator's research.

I'll leave somebody else to explain more in detail, since there's a lot I don't know, but I don't think you'd be disappointed with either.

A cab from Fliptops is not of the same quality as Vintage-Blue. Fliptops has borrowed some of VB’s features. Ampeg consulted with VB for the development of the Heritage B15 cab. Ampeg has ordered custom double baffle B-15 cabs from vintage-blie.

If given the choice, I would go with the vintage-blue product.

Looking to pick up a 15” double baffle cab and speaker… anyone have experience with Fliptops or Vintage Blue? Others?
I have one of each. Both are perfectly functional and sound identical. But the Fliptops cab is made like a budget version of the double baffle cab with the old school hardware (which sucks, let's be honest here) while Vintage Blue cabs are works of art with many great improvements over the old design that still keep it sounding the same.

Very good. The V-B guy is just up the road in Cincinnati, so I could probably go pick it up too, which is nice.

Did you go with the Eminence Beta-15a? I don't really have speaker choice in mind.

I went with Deltas because they're a tiny bit brighter on paper. Turns out the Delta sounds pretty much like the 66 Ampeg-badged CTS in my real 64 cab, and so I stick with it. Never got around to trying a Beta because I was happy with the Delta.
