Double Bass Double Bass and Flute duets?

I'm trying to find duet music for bass and flute, me and a friend of mine are trying to put it together for our solo and ensemble competition next year. Any suggestions?

I believe Bertram Turetzky had a few pieces written for him for bass and flute duet. They are very modern, and may not be the best competition pieces.

You could always take a Bach 2-part invention and each play one of voices.

Go to ASODB.com and hit 'downloads' and "Spirituals" duet. Transpose the top part to treble clef and you are in business! It's FREE! (Bassists love that.....)

84 works listed for flute and double bass plus 5 for piccolo and double bass.

You can take any baroque flute sonata and play the left hand of the piano part (you might need to do some photocopying, cutting, pasting and photocopying again) and it'll sound great. Most of them were written with just figured bass anyway so it'll sound quite authentic.

There are a lot of them, and some are very nice.
