The tapped DeColas from the EB appeared in the neck through ‘15 Thunderbird. Hard to find one these days, but they’re awesome basses.Gibson EB series 2013/14. Stellar basses that sound nothing like the name on the headstock would make one believe. Light, resonant, powerful. Set neck - of course - not a neck through design.

Well, all StingRay HH models have double humbuckers like you describe.

A great many Foderas also have this pickup configuration. Several examples:

Also plenty of Wal basses, F Basses, some Elricks, some Wyns, some MTDs, the odd Carl Thompson, and probably plenty of others (Marleaux? Warrior?).
Wow, that bass looks ridiculously great. I've never really looked at B.C. Rich basses before... do they have many good modern options? My 1977 neck thru B.C. Rich MockingbirdView attachment 5442487
They are mostly P/P these days but they have a USA custom shop that will build anything you can dreamWow, that bass looks ridiculously great. I've never really looked at B.C. Rich basses before... do they have many good modern options?
They aren't that hard to DIY. A MM-style pickup can be routed over a jazz pickup. I did it to a kiesel bass - love the dual humbuckers enough to do that. I wire mine with the ability to have each pickup series/parrallel/single coil. Great tonal options. Killer tone.
What's the name of this one?
