Double J's question

I recently purchased 2 mojotone double jazz pickups from a fellow Talkbasser. I am putting them into a Peavey Cirrus. I have also bought an active/passive preamp from Guitar Fuel that is configured push/pull active/passive vol, blend, stacked bass/treble, and passive tone pot. My question is will I have to have 2 dpdt switches for each pickup, to do them series, parallel, and humbucking, even though I have a blend pot? These are 4 wire for each pickup.

Thanks

Oh, any wiring diagrams to accomplish this is much appreciated!

Series/parallel requires a switch.

Splitting the coils between single and humbucking operation requires a switch for each pickup.

A blend pot just blends whatever two signals get fed to it. It has no control over the series/parallel/phase/split operation of a given pickup.

Some considerations for series/parallel here.

You will need a DPDT on on on switch for each pickup to do what you want to do. There are larger 4P4T switches with one bat if you want one switch to control both pickups, but I like the dual switch so you can get some more interesting and varied tones.
