Been mostly playing drums since 2017, but have the bass bug again, and replaced the two basses I kept with theses two. Love the USA Geddy! The Sadowsky metro express is a very nicely made guitar, but I already ordered an upgraded preamp with VTC. I'm getting used to the flatter fretboard, but it will be an adjustment. I don't own a bass rig anymore since I quit playing in the band I was in when I restarted my drum career. I just have a Sansamp Geddy Lee 2112 preamp and a Mesa Subway preamp, that I run through my PA.

If you're gonna do it, no reason not to do it right!

I'm in a similar boat. I've been exclusively drums for the last 4+ years.

I still play drums almost every day but also decided to pick up the bass again after a loooong hiatus.

I also recently bought two basses, one being the USA Geddy. Exceptional instrument.
