EliMarcusBass said:I've been trying to find a way to convert RAM or RM files to mp3 or MPEG files for a long time and I just can't seem to find a way that works.
If anyone has any methods they have for conversion I'd like to hear it too because not being able to convert these real files has been a real pain.
I'll tell you what I do know though:
The file itself, if you try to download it, will be an RAM file which is just a text file telling realPlayer where to stream from. You have to get to the source of the actual file and download the RM file. Then there is a way to convert RM files to normal media files but all the converters I have tried have just failed me over and over.

I was able to grab it using a stream recorder. I dont have a place to post it and it is too large to email - so if you know of how I could send it to you, let me know and I will do so!

Converting the actual file is not a problem, because i use a mac, and you can just click on the file, and when you highlight the name of the file .. lets say Bass solo.rm.. you can just delete the RM part and type in MPEG or MP4 and a message would appear telling you are you sure you would like to convert the file. and you just press yes and the file converts
Im having trouble finding the actual file.
