Double Bass DPA 4099 cable routing

Hey there

How are people threading / routing the cables from their DPA 4099B to xlr leads? I just had a repair (turned out to be the cable which was replaced ... which was super expensive) done on my one, I’ve had it for many years and love it for some scenarios… I had a pretty elaborate set up prior with foam etc behind the tailpiece and mounting the jack on the tailpiece wire.., before I start messing around just curious on your solutions… oh, the belt clip on my jack broke so that’s not an option…

Cheers

I believe I just used a twist tie to shorten the length wrapping it into a loop in the middle and stowing it into my bow quiver or with the XLR jack
behind the tailpiece. One of,the primary reasons I switched to the Remic D5400 LB (Green) and D5400 ( Red) was the DPA’s cable buzzing anywhere it touched the bridge, top, or tailpiece. It was a PITA.
