DPA 4099 vibration issue/mounting tips?

Hi all,
I recently got a DPA 4099 mic and no matter how I place it, I get an awful low end rattle/distortion. I'm pretty sure it's not the mic itself as it works fine when put on a stand. Could it be a defective rubber clamp? Or another component?
Has anyone experienced and solved a similar issue?

Yep
Probably the cable vibrating on the body.

If it's on an URB , tape the cable/wire to the tail


Also check where you clip it , on the tail ? On the F-hole ? bridge ?
I've experienced Mic vibrating when in F-Hole , the clip itself shake with low end vibration

It's not the cable. I actually contacted DPA and they said it's a known issue they're working on solving.
I'm sending them the mic for evaluation.
