Dr. Bass 2460 Cabinet

Aside from all the thievery and various other nefarious activities, I think the cabinets themselves were pretty well constructed stuff. I'd probably remove the logo though...just because.....I have to sleep at night.

+1 on all counts, especially the removal of the logo, no one should be advertising for his unscrupulous business.

I had one too , great gigging cab . They don't go too deep but are very articulate with the three way design and are quite loud , a very good stand alone cab . I had a pair of Eden 210XLT cabs that I loved but were about 68 pounds apiece and I had to use both to cover most of my gigs . The 2460 was about the same size as one of the Edens and weighed the same and blew the Eden out of the water volume wise . I have a 1260 , the 112 version of your cab , that I still use for my small cab and it kicks but mine doesn't have the Dr Bass badge on it . Here's a old pic of mine .

Like the other guys say good cabs but the owner turned into a very shady character .

Greetings from the North,

The 2460 was one of the best and most popular cabs that Dr.Bass produced. I still have the earlier 2260 version and it looks and sounds as great as when I first got it some years ago. It still is a great 3 way cab and helped to bring 2X12 cabs into popularity as an option to the over abundance of 10 inch cabs.

It's a shame that the business practices of the owner hurt so many customers as well as would be customers and as you prolly ascertained the owner and brand aren't very popular around here.

Good luck with your 'new to you cab'.
