Has anyone had any experience with a cab made by Dr. Bass???

Dr. Bass DRB 2060 3 way cab. 2x10 1X6.5 mid & horn??

It's a big con. He'll take your order, take your money, and you'll never see anything for it. Give your money to someone who isn't a crook, like Don at Low Down Sound.

The summary is that the gear is for the most part very good sounding and very reasonably priced, but that buying new is a bit of a lucky dip as they've had some serious failures at delivering in a timely manner. I love my Dr Bass gear. If you're buying 2nd hand, go for it, if new, probably best to wait til one of these threads starts filling up with people posting that the delivery timeframes are now reasonable and consistent. I waited 14 months.

I've heard nothing but great things about the Dr.Bass Cabs, the business on the other hand, not so many great things...

If you buy used, off of the classifieds, I think you will be very happy, but please DO NOT buy from the company. Too many people have been ripped off, and he doesn't deserve any more money.

Buying used is about the only reliable way to receive a cabinet. Some guys like the cabs, others not so much . . . They are listed in TB classifieds pretty often.

First off, His cabs are really not all that(I've had three). Second you really can't trust him to deliver anything. He will take your order but delivering your order is another thing entirely.

If your looking for a cab builder, look up Low Down Sound. Don is the best!

Marc Serio dba Dr. Bass is a liar, a con artist, and a criminal scammer. All you'll get for your money is months and months of excuses as to why your cab is not delivered, and why you can't be refunded on your purchase.
