DR Lo-Riders (ss) vs La Bella Hard Rockin' - brightness comparison....

I have tried a couple of La Bella Hard Rockin' sets (50-110 & 54-111 gauges) and they seem pretty decent to me. But quality wise they seem a bit hit and miss - I have had 3 strings break on 2 different guitars (long & short scale) within 1 month.

Was curious how the DR Lo-Riders would compare in a similar gauge (50-110). Brightness, open E clarity, tension etc...

Anyone with any experience of both sets?

Have you ever tried Blue Steels? Similar to Low Riders. Im not so sure the open E dont sound better.
