Yeah, pretty sure Fat Beams are the same ...Great strings!
Anyone using the newer DR Pure Blues?
I'm loving them! They hit the feel of the string perfectly. They sound brite but tough . Killin' on the 65 Pbass!

Found Fat Beams on Amazon, will try basstringsonline as well. God I love the tone it gives my Musician, it has that gutsy mid and all around eq response I try to get like no other strings can, even Roto isn't as dynamic to my ear

Fatbeams are my favorite strings, but having a round core they don't last long. My 6 string Jazz bass will ALWAYS have Fatbeam. My other two basses are a Marcus Miller bass & a KSD Proto 70s fretless. I thought of going with Dunlap Brights for the MM but I want scooped. I can EQ. The KSD is badass black with smoked chrome hardware, & I thought of getting black Rotosound Nexus. Are they SS under the nylon?

Do those have a hex core & SS. I take it by tough you mean less scoooed--more mids?

The Dunlop Millers aren't the same at all. The regular Dunlop Super Bright Steels are excellent.

Which Super Brights is more scooped, the regulars or the MM? I am definitely shooting for Fatbeam sound, but with a longer life
