I've found a few things I don't like about my new small rig. Since the things generally don't go in a rack, I'm finding "stuff" piled on top of my cabinet. I'm a neat-nik, like things tidy. I could throw my rack up, plug in the wall, plug in a cab, and rock. Now I have to set the amp up, set my wireless system up, get the tuner going, etc. It's not a big deal sound wise, but just something I noticed.
When not using a wireless, I'm finding I need to anchor my cable down good so I don't pull the whole thing on the floor. My new Epi cabs have no side handles anywhere to run a cable through to anchor it. Not sure what I'm going to do with that.
Other than that, I gotta say, I'm never going back to 2-rack space and higher bass heads. If you put a micro amp in a 2-rack space box, no one would notice.
I am curious about flaky power next summer at festivals. I did read about some issues with these digital power supplies cutting out. That's it for me on the negatives.
