wow, live book trailers like this? who knew? if you're just starting the books, these might have spoilers for you, but probably not as without context, you won't know who the characters are.

this is for the latest book, which i've read - it's a good trailer, and the actor for harry is perfect. i like that murph has aged and isn't a 21 year old cutie.



this is for the up and coming book, which is an immediate continuation of the previous book/trailer


it makes me wish they'd just make a freaking movie already - a good one. i enjoyed the actor in the TV show, but mostly the casting was off and their own "books" just didn't get the series.

Harry and Murph are spot on. Thomas I'm not sure about. His sister (Lara?) is way off, as is Mab. Ebenezer is ok. Carlos looks good. Looking forward to Battleground.

I didn't watch the series. Couldn't get past the first 10 mins. My media specialist gave me the books to read, but warned me about the show.

yeah, mab looking older makes no sense to me as she doesn't age, and lara wasn't unearthly beautiful as she should be. marcone was okay, but not right for me. but hey, it's still better casting than the show had and better casting than most recent movies have.

i made if further in the show, but it had big issues. have you read the graphic novels? jim butcher is very involved in them, and sometimes i like them but at other times i wonder what everyone involved is thinking...
