Drop D favorites

Hey everyone. New here, was just wondering what everyone's take on Drop D was. My friend taught me Outshined-Soundgarden and I loved the sound.

List your favorite Drop D songs, and if you don't mind, maybe point out a few easier ones for beginner bassists like myself!

One of my favs (and a pretty easy one for a beginner) is Slither by Velvet Revolver. Very fun to play with a band too.

all apologies by nirvana is a fun one, though that's technically drop Db, with the whole bass tuned down a 1/2 step, then the the Eb dropped to Db.

I will definitely be looking all these tabs up later, for sure. I'm a big Nirvana fan. I'll have to lookup how to tune correctly for most of their music

Stick it Out - Rush (yes, even Rush did Drop D at one point) - main riff is easy, the rest isn't as easy necessarily.

Anything by Tool. Schism is surprisingly easy once you understand the cadence of the main riff. It's good pick practice.

Testify - Rage Against the Machine - great introduction to Tim Commerford's style, with a lot of syncopation and some ghost noting in the main riff

Bullet for my Valentine and Avenged Sevenfold both play almost entirely in Drop D. They're also good pick practice.

Scars by X Japan is also in Drop D, in contrast to most of the band's other songs which are in Eb. The original line was played with a pick, but I personally like the sound I get playing it with my fingers. It's a good riff to practice bursts of speed.

+1 on Tool. 'Sober', 'The Pot' and 'Stinkfist' have been in my bands playlists for some time.

Also, Porcupine Tree's 'Fear Of A Blank Planet' is a killer track.
