Drums in the Monitors

a bit of kick in the drummer's monitor is not unreasonable, it's just not as loud as the rest of the drums (especially to him, since it's the one drum that's not up and facing him).

past that it should be just what he needs from the rest of the players to track the band, since he's not gonna hear any of you otherwise.

it was the soundguy's mistake to let the drum mix get so big and loud right out of the gate, he should have known that would cause overall stage volume problems.
