Double Bass DTar Soundspot - K&K Bass Max: same thing?

I have quite a collection of pickups, and recently noticed the Dtar soundspot. It looks JUST LIKE my K&K.

are they exactly the same thing? anyone out there know the answer? (before I buy one to try it...)
