Dude, You're Getting Screwed by Dell!

I sure don't see how this is Microsoft's fault. Dell is the one that didn't have the 360 in stock.
I'm starting to understand that Microsoft gets part of the blame for everything negative that happens in the lives of Mac owners, even if they really have nothing to do it. It's just part of the deal. :p

IMO, Dell's never been a brilliant distributor of their (or anyone else's) product.

I have 4 PC's that I built myself. Never had a hardware failure on any of them. But they are not Mac's, so they obviously suck. I dual boot PCLinuxOS and XP on all four of them. Never had any OS issues with them either, including XP.:rollno:

+100 with embellisher here,

I don't see how microsoft has anything to do with this, and saying that macs don't fail or have problems is....well......let's not go there. It's just simply not true.

I never blamed Microsoft for this. I said I use a Mac...not as a knock to Microsoft...but because they have better customer service than Dell and I've had more hardware failures with my old Dell than I have with any other computer I owned. As far as Microsoft... this would have been my third Xbox. First one had the red ring of death. The second one is just plain dying. Disc read errors where any other Xbox reads just fine, shuts down in the middle of playing a game, and sometimes it just won't acknowledge that the hard drive is there. If they put out a product that didn't fail, I wouldn't be in this conundrum right now.

Nowhere did I turn this into a Mac vs. PC thread.

I don't dislike Microsoft, but their Xboxes just don't last that long.
