Duesenberg Triton

They carry Duesenbergs 5 minutes away from my office....I almost bought the D bass....it sounds quite amazing in person too...the fretboard felt flat...could be just my inexperience though.

I looked at their site to find out who has them locally and the site only show shops in the prairies. Would you be so kind as to fill me in locally, so to speak!

I love the switch, I really disliked the P-clone I tried a while back, hassling with those separate knobs. I use the neck/middle position for maximum (distorted) deep tone and occasionally the bridge pickup for softer parts, quick and can be handled while doing lead vocals too.

Switches, not knobs.

I say this mostly because I'd probably want to play the middle pickup on its own.

NP, you use position 3, only middle pickup.

Got it, loved it... kept it for about a year and a half, sold it, regret it.

This is one of the most versatile basses that I've ever owned. It really covered the P Bass tone and the Jazz Bass tone as well as some other "dubby" type tones with the neck pick up. If you get one, make sure it has the series/parallel switch. It added even more tonal characteristics.

I loved the playability, and the feel, but it came down to the fact that I have WAY too many boutique basses and something had to go. Just for the sake of space...
