I`ve heard this said and its makes sense. You like many of us play ToyBass also. Well lets say your playing a really awsome EB...sayyy...a Ken Smith with all the bells and whistles. Now lets say your playing this awsome Bass through a...uhh..10watt Peavey Amp. Yes you got a good Bass and you got a Amp BUT that Amp WILL NOT let you sound as good as you SHOULD simply because of the amps limitations. The Bow is your Amp. And I said allll that just to talk about Sound. Playability is another story. I started on a cheap Bow and the Bow I have now is not considered a pricy one but its way better than what I had and I feel will take me a good bit in my quest.
