Sorry... many folks are totally clueless on speaker impedance related to power amps.. and think they can string 3 or 4 wedges together off one side because "it works"!Yes. I do know how to calculate ohms in parallel so it's 2-8's for 4 and one 8 on the other side


As I understand it, monitors are less likely to feedback when provided with adequate headroom reserve.

that is really freaking odd. feedback is depedent on a variety of variables. reserve power is not one I would generally include. mic, mic placement, monitors and EQ and the ringing out process, room eq are the things think of ...

maybe the source is me?
i find that way more power to wedges results in less EQ hacking needed to get them up to volume and thus less feedback issues once i get there.
