Well, I've tried many strings on my LowEnd J5 and I think I have finally found what works best on THIS bass. I like D'Addario ProSteels, DR Pure Blues, SIT Foundations and Rock Brights, and many more. But the Dunlop Super Bright Nickel Wound really brings out the character of the LEJ. I mean the midrange growl is there. The tight bottom and crisp highs are there. They have been on for almost three months now and have really settled in. The LEJ has dual coils in it and I was really trying to get close to a single coil tone, and the Super Brights are giving me that tone I have been searching for. I see some LEJ posts on here but not as many as I would like to see. Believe me, they are top-notch basses!
