Dunwich Amplification General Discussion

Is that a custom? What’s the story?

Ah. Just googled. Klon.
Did you get it from the latest Reverb lusting?

Yeah, it's an older build. Not too sure how many were built. Not too sure about anything about it really, except
that it sounds great and I got it for a song, at least for a Dunwich pedal.

I like it better than the Bass Overdriver.
I saw it for sale on there for a while but didn't know how it sounded until the demo was posted. Go back a few posts and listen to it and you tell me :)

Guys I think I found the final piece of the puzzle. I tripped over it when checking my Reverb and think I was checked out 10 secs later.

It's soooo sweet. It adds that special little extra vintage something to all my ods and fuzzes. The range knob goes from Treble boost up to full range boost with plenty of low end when on full. It can be run "clean" booster or with a preset amount of medium od. The boost adds a subtle midrange bump. The mode switch is a passive vs buffered input with pickup simulation, so basically you can use it anywhere in your chain without losing any volume. Pretty much all the basses are covered with this one.

I've been drooling over it since I saw it on instagram a while back. I think there were two produced? There's no writing on the lid. I paid over retail for it (I think) but just haaaad to to have it. Glad I did.

This probably explains the high asking price for the tyrant: it’s one of few designs for which Magic won’t take over production. At least Nick’s going out on top, and not bowing out because he wasn’t getting by. Glad I got my Cthulhu, might still see about an ODB.

Aw man I totally slept on my idea of getting a 125B wizard built with the OG wizard graphic. He said it'd be doable as a custom but I didn't move on it at the time. Doh!

I hear ya man. I bet every single one of us have one of "those." I wanted to inquire about modding my ODB with slightly higher gain and also one of the Studio Overdrives. Slept too long on both ideas. All good. I am thankful for the Dunwich pedals I do have but will sorely miss the new build posts on instagram.

I wish Nick the best too, and with one kiddo and one on the way I can totally relate regarding time and priorities. But I don't care what anyone says it's still a sad day in ye 'ol Dunwich Amplification thread.

And so the predictable BS starts.
Someone is selling a DA120 for $1000.
Seriously bro? Seriously?

If you read the ad text, he says to make him an offer he can’t refuse. I think he picked a sale price nobody would pay, and wants a “feeler” for what the market demand is like with offers, with the option to hold it.
