Negative. The washer on stomp functions as the LED

I didn’t quite find a magical fit out of the box with this one, but yesterday was a bad day for me so I’m going to regroup and try again tonight. I plugged in my new half scale bass and the neck pickup wasn’t working so I ended up trying to troubleshoot that issue.
My experience was that the lower gain, almost clean sounds were easiest to dial in, and quite nice. The EQ controls have a lot of range, and the mid can really influence the overall voice. As the gain increases you can hear the separated drive signals start to behave differently and I wanted to change the EQ each time I moved the gain. It also seemed quite sensitive and responsive to playing dynamics.
I don’t really know what I’d compare it to. It certainly doesn’t sound like any of my other pedals.
Fingers crossed for a better day today, and more playing time tonight.

Definitely try flipping the boost switches even with the control knobs dialed down below noon. I find there’s a bit of extra something they bring out.
Took a quick work break to play a bit. I've got a better handle on things now.
I mostly play direct with my rig, but I decided to plug in to my 20w tube guitar combo just to see what that did. The pedal seems much happier driving a real amp than my preamp and cab sim pedals. Switching back to DI, I found running it into my Edison was an improvement.
FYI - if you hadn't figured it out (I hadn't) the Volume Boost will bypass the Master setting. I think my preference is to flip that switch and run a low gain setting. But, I have to get back to the work keyboard.

It’s an interesting drive pedal. Here’s where I ended up after an hour of playing. Some observations… the pedal sounds like the anime badge looks; break up is a little rough in a good way; sounds sort of metallic and yet sounds organic. Not necessarily an intuitive pedal, but rewards to be found with exploration.
Seems it got lows and mids in spades, can't wait mine ! Oops, took the treble knob and switch for the bass ones.
