Ahhhh.... I think I see what's going on here...
I think you're adding an extra note at the end of the lick. I think that's how JT plays it live and it is how I have always played it (before transcribing it).
But listening to the original, he hadn't added that note yet:

Not a big deal really. There are small instances in every tune that could be scrutinized to death. Nice work either way. Feel free to pick apart anything I post, as a matter of fact that's what I'm hoping people do.
Nothing is too small here. That's why we are here - to learn. At least that is how I see it. And if we're talking about JT's nuance, grace and style then we need to look under the microscope once in a while.

Good point, speaking of which "girls on Film" this was tabbed in BP mag a while back, and to me the transcription of the main part doesn't seem quite right, they have it where JT is playing open A string, dead note, open A, dead note, Open A then the fill During the verses, and to my ear there is more going on there.... anyone else play that verse line different?

Yes but Girls is in A and D- the question is how he plays the cool little ryhtmic piece during each verse, whether it is even right as a note, dead note, note, dead note, note than riff. Just doesn't seem right... seems like there is another note in there...
Late Bar and Faster Than Light were a couple of his best early bass lines IMO and would be great if he could get those type of lines into a new song or two as they are working on a new album. Last Change On The Stairway and Of Crime and Passion are great as well; such a big influence on me still to this day as I find his influence in a lot of my fingerings. Cool Stuff!
"Of Crime and Passion" Is a great, great line- Very cool syncopations that many times don't go where you expect it to go. IMHO Seven and the Ragged was the last great Duran Duran album- Love Notorious as well, but it really is a very different animal than where they started.

My TAB software doesn't accommodate S&P so I used the down stroke symbol (half an H) for thumb slaps and the upstroke symbol (V) for the pops.
I didn't check the score with a fine tooth comb so there may be some typo's here and there - but it should be OK. Let me know if there are any problems and I'll update as necessary.
For the most part the song is pretty easy. Nigel doesn't do a whole bunch of waffling so that helps. But it is very fun to play.

I'm working on Crime & Passion and I'm gonna need at least one more set of ears. This is what I've come up with so far for the opening riff:
