Duratex lighter than fur?

If you have three identical cabs and one is finished in Duratex and one is covered vinyl and one in rat fur, would there be any significant difference in weight between the three cabs?

From my discussions with various builders, the very thin Duratex (like on the Bergantino cabs) is a smidge lighter. The heavy duty 'truck bed' stuff will actually add meaningful weight (on a large cab, up to a couple of pounds) versus thin duratex or carpet.
I view it as just another aesthetic choice. Carpet was the big thing when it came out since it was SO much more durable than tolex. Really is great in not being impacted by bumps and dings, etc., and you can just vacuum it clean. Of course, it absorbed the smoke in bars back then, but that is, in the US anyway, pretty much a thing of the past.
The heavy duty truckliner stuff is amazing, since you can literally beat on it with a hammer and it won't ding. Expensive, a bit rough looking, and adds a bit of weight.
The thin, roll on duratex is, IMO really nice looking, but more fragile than tolex, much less carpet. However, if you use a padded cover for you cab, that is a bit of a moot point.

I think the nice part about Duratex is that if you do ding the surface, you can touch it up yourself and it will look just like new.
A pint of Duratex is pretty light. A yard or two of rat fur is not... Maintenance wise, duratex is sweet. For me it is the go to coating ... speakerhardware.com...

guess I'll have to keep setting aside one hour a month to vacuum, lint roller, & frabreeze my gear (two cabs & a head case). I guess it's not really that big a deal, but I'm able to wipe down two tolex wrapped monitors and an ABS (plastic) bass case in like 6/8 minutes with an Armorall wipe. And I only have to do that like 3 or 4 times a year. Maybe thinking a weight savings is just an excuse for just getting old and lazy, eh?
