my E string appears to be too large for my nut (d'addario steels i think) and i was wondering what i could do to keep it from popping out and flying around
cheers mates
Is the E-String not sitting flush into the nut? or is it too large that it is just resting on the groove?
Also, as mentioned above: more wraps on the tuning post. But if you already cut the string, make sure the winding is as close to the headstock as possible so there is more of an angle from the nut to the tuner.
