The VL-208 is rated for 400 watts power handling. Most were 8 ohms, although there were some 4 ohm versions. The VL-208 is a great cabinet. I've never heard anything else that sounds like it.what are the wattage and impedence ratings on the VL208?
Dammit. Lost more time on this turd. Francis!

No. You're not following the joke from the top. It started long before you showed up.Excellent. thank you.
as far as this goes:
I hope "this turd" was in reference to the thread rather than to me.![]()
As time goes by, I'm realizing that WW (I've got the Ultra) into almost any cab sounds so good that it doesn't seem fair!
So I'm on the lookout for one of these EA 2x8 cabs to try....![]()
First of all, where's mine?Well, I've got one coming! Should be here next week. I've studied, yes studied, the threads here and was able to piece together some good information. Thanks TB for that. I still have a couple of questions:
I noticed back in 06 they were selling for a pretty penny. What did they go for brand new?
Phil, how many watts do you put through yours before you killed it? I will be pushing it with 700Watts, and of course will be listening for any issues with the drivers, but your experience would be helpful here.
Do you guys find that one is enough for most small to medium sized venues? I'm already considering what to pair it with.
