Hello TBer's, anybody out there have or played through both? I already have the iAmp so aside from all of the extras of the B|Amp, is there much difference between the two in the general tone and EQ'ing areas? Or, would the difference mainly be the extras (which ARE many) the B|Amp has to offer? Is there any reason to own both?

I have an EA NL210 cab and a couple of Berg HT112ERs as well as HT115s (I believe the HT115's do not have speaker profiles designed for the B|Amp). I also use a GB Streamliner 900, if anyone wants to add comments to that as well.

    Thanks in advance bass brethren!

The “extras” are the point of the B|Amp. If you want the same amp without the extras, you’re looking at the Forte.

Thanks for the input, revroy. I understand the differences between the Berg amps, but was wondering how the EQ's/tone compare vs the iAmp. I don't have the opportunity to A/B both without purchasing the Berg. :(
