Double Bass EA Micro 300 Phone Home

What's the latest from all you folks that purchased a EA Micro 300? Has EA made good in it's quest to address the problems with the initial run of the amps? Please, everyone chime in wheather it's good or bad news.

Yes they have. Word is that they are working to make it even quieter.This past weekend, after playing for our Pastor Appreciation ceremony at our church, the other bassists could not stop talking about how great my Cirrus sounded! One played a Ken Smith 5 with Jazz pickups connected to an SWR amp and a 4-10 cabinet and the other played a Fender Jazz 4 connected to Carvin amp and a 4-10 cabinet. I was playing through a Euphonic Audio iAmp Micro 300 connetced to a Schroeder Mini 10+ L. They could not believe the sound that was coming from my tiny rig! Jorg is THE MAN and his cabinets are THE BOMB!!! Micro 300+Schroeder=UNBELIEVABLY HUGE SOUND WITH CLARITY!!!

I talked w. Mike Dimin today and asked this same question..He told me EA is going to be making a large production run on the Micro 300's in about 3 weeks. I am looking forward to checking one of these bad boys out in the near future.

Here's my new GAS policy. On even-numbered days I will get a Micro 300. On odd-numbered days, I will keep the lead sled head.

The options are quite well thought out. I am particularly pleased with the trim pots for front end gain, as one of my pickups has unusually low output.
