I just wanted to share my experience with you all on earasers ear plugs Earasers musicians high fidelity earplugs hearing protection
I bought a set of these last year and have been pretty pleased with them. About a month ago I noticed they were getting dirty so I set out to clean them.. Well I did not read the proper instructions on how to clean them and I ruptured the little drum like membrane inside the ear plug rendering them useless. I contacted their customer support and spoke with their VP. She told me that if I bought one ear plug from their site she would send me the other for free as well as a cleaning kit. I thought this was a nice offer and set out to do so. Upon check out I noticed it was going to cost a flat 10 bucks to have them shipped. At this point I could just buy a new set from Amazon for about the same price. Well since there is not a lot of money in the ol band fund I went with a cheaper set from amazon from Ear Peace. Not bad plugs, but not as nice as EARasers. I never informed EARasers of this and figured the ball would just get dropped there. Well last week I got an email from their VP asking if everything was ok and they had not seen my order come through. I explained to them that I could not afford them right now and I went with a cheaper set. They understood and asked for my address so they could send me a gift thanking me for trying their product. So I gave them my address thinking I might get a key chain of some kinda swag from them. Well today FEDEX dropped a package off at my door with a set of brand new EARasers and a cleaning kit for free. WOW I was shocked talk about awesome customer service. I liked their ear plugs before now I really love them. So I just wanted to let you all know these guys at EARasers are awesome and they have a great product as well. If you are on the fence on what ear plugs to try give these guys a try..

I have a pair of these. Great ear plugs. Their owner is on a drum forum I frequent as well. Seems like a nice guy. I wear mine for live shows. They aren't quite strong enough for a full set behind the drum kit, but the owner tells me they are (have?) developed a stronger set of plugs that would work for drums. Great for watching a gig though, that is for sure.

I'm glad that there are still companies out there willing to stand behind their product and go the extra mile for the general consumer.

I purchased my first set of Earasers about 4 months ago and absolutely love them. However, I guessed incorrectly and got a pair that is a tad too small. I plan on getting the correct size ASAP.

I own a set of the Advanced Tech Ear Plugs | DUBS Acoustic Filters, and I love them! I bought them on a whim because our drummer tends to get really loud in reheasal, and I stand next to him. There's good and bad with them... I'll cover both:

The Bad

Apparently, they only ship in one size. If they don't it your ears, your out of luck. Fortunately, they fit my ears so that was a good thing. Ypu basically pull your ear by the tip to open your ear canal, slide it in and your good to go. They don't sell replacement tips, so if anything happens to them you basically have to buy another set.

The Good

They Work! I put them in at practice and at first thought that they weren't working at all because I could clearly hear the guitarist and the drummer talking. I reseated them a few times because I was so use to er plugs muting all the sound. I went with it anyway. Practice was awesome! I could hear articulately the music being played... vocals, guitar, bass, drums... the only difference was that the volume. The edge was taken off the snare and cymbals. The volume was lower, and after 3 hours, I had no ear fatigue.

Although the fit is a little snug, they are keepers!

I took the Dubs out to see a local bar band.

Again, I was really impressed. It cut the volume down tremendously, I was able to hear the waitress, the vocals were clear, everything seemed more articulate.

It was so see less that at one point, I took one out to hear the difference and quickly put it back in!

Can't say enough good things about the Dubs...

Earasers are awesome. Our guitarist gave all of us a pair. He works at GC...so he gets the discount. I had to after I took a break from playing guitar. My old band used to play so loud...and my current band plays super loud, too...in a drywall box. Our drummer has a kevlar head on his snare...it's piercing.

I agree, hearing protection is so worth it, whatever the cost. When I first started wearing the DUBS, I was a little bit apprehensive what my bandmates and others might think. It turned out to be absolutely no big deal at all. I'm glad I started.

I just play bass (as opposed to bassist and vocalist). I think if I ever get back into singing, I'd go for in-ear monitors, for the hearing protection and increased vocal monitor quality. But for just being in front of an amp stack, bringing the thunder for 4 hours, the DUBS are great. I put them in before soundcheck, take them out in my car after I've loaded out for the night. I can still carry on conversations with them in. Not perfect, but good... and zero ringing ears afterwards any more.

I would think that the Earasers would be similarly good. Haven't tried them, but they look good.
