Early 90s G&L SB-2
This is huge-bang-for-buck bass. This is a refin - a very good refin, but still a refin. Looks like some of the pg screws were replaced but the rest looks correct. Wired V/V the way it was intended. A hair under 10 lbs. Non-original HSC.

I’m into this bass for my asking price so please don’t lowball me.

$675 plus whatever UPS charges me to ship it to you
Will go to $650 for Zelle or cash/check/MO payment

This is a killer deal. I wish 1.5" necks worked for me!

To answer a couple of common questions:
1. I don’t know what color it was originally. I used to have a pic of the neck pocket but can’t locate it right now. As I recall, the pocket was nearly fully covered in this color.
2. The pickguard is metal, but not the usual crinkle finish. Don’t know why or how you would take that stuff off but I guess somebody did. It appears to have no effect on tone or playability.
3. Finish feels like nitro. I’ve done a couple of rattlecan nitro jobs and they feel just like this.
4. Whoever did the paint knew what they were doing. They buffed it out beautifully. When I saw it in person I knew it wasn’t a standard G&L color. The polish was nearly perfect but it didn’t have that “dipped in plastic” feel some G&Ls have. I wasn’t 100% sure until I saw the neck pocket.
5. Case is a SKB Freedom molded plastic in good shape with the hinges and latches all working.
