My first bass amp was a 15W Park (budget brand of Marshall) that would produce a very "splatty" distortion when I turned up the volume.

The sound in the demo video reminds me a lot of that specific sound!

For me, it's not about the distortion/OD... more about how the boost sounds in the center mode. Just gives an airy feel.

I stopped using it for a while and even had it in the classifieds. Just started using it in front of a Broughton HPF/LPF and it is a whole different game. Not sure exactly why, but it sounds full and all three modes are very useable. Really loving it right now.

Is anybody using Plumes with crossover/blender such as Broughton FFXL or Byte Heaven Sugar Britches?
