Easiest Songs to Cover for Beginners

Discussion in 'General Instruction [BG]' started by Misterwogan, Dec 1, 2012.

  1. I'm looking for nominations in the category of really cool songs that are also easy to play for the beginner bassist.

    My nomination is:
Earth Wind and Fire - Let's Groove. There is just one easy riff and another easy lick at the bridge. Killer song too, brings back many happy memories from 1981.

    Please do not nominate:
My Lovely Horse by Father Ted Crilly and Father Dougal Maguire. Although this song has just one note, it is very difficult to get to the end - this video will explain...

Fairly easy songs for a beginner and not too boring either.
