Easy Peasy?

The first time I remember hearing this was a couple of months ago on a TV show and someone said "Easy Peasy"

I thought "how juvenile" for an adult on a serious show

Then I start seeing it in print, hear people using it in conversation, and I even see it here on TB!

I just keep wondering: is this something new this "easy peasy"?

Then yesterday I was talking with my wife and I said it! "Easy Peasy!"

What the heck? I can't stand "Easy Peasy"!

IIRC, it's new compared with the oldest profession in the world, but otherwise, pretty old I think.

If I do remember it correctly, it (as well as many other sayings) originates from the 18th century literature for children.
