What I am looking for may be impossible but...
I am looking to get together with one of my fellow community orchestra members and my wife to play some chamber music this summer.
We need something not too challenging, as we are all of different levels of playing ability and experience. I am not very good in thumb position and don't spend much time with the solo bass repertoire. I do work on some of the Bach cello suites though.
The difficulty level could be middle school or high school level but not beyond NYSMA level 5 perhaps.
Ideally am looking for music for a trio of piano, violin and double bass - which I doubt exists.
I would be happy with piano, violin and cello - as long as the cello stayed mostly within the bass clef.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
