EB Powerslinky's alternative?

Hi guys,

I love my Powerslinky's but their initial tone dies too soon.
I love the way they play and sound.

What other string brands/types have the same tone but last longer?

EB Cobalts are nice I have a set on my pbass. Nice tension, punch and clarity. Nice growl to them.

To me, Ernie Balls sound very similar to D'Addario and Dean Markley nickelwounds. I don't think, for me at least, that EBs die any quicker than the others. Try one of these and you may even want to throw GHS Boomers into the mix but I've never used them. Just match one of these to your preferred gauges and you should be ready to go.
