eBay $20 or less new Bass purchase status poll

A similar thread here made me aware of these basses last year.
Same as many here, I couldn't resist seeing what you get for less $ than a family at Taco Bell.
I got exactly what I ordered.
A bashed up, low quality component, shiny bass. In a very loose, thin, poorly packed box from New Jersey. The neck actually came through almost mark free. That's the important part, right?
I let the seller know, along with pictures of the heavy body damage in a few places. I offered to pack it up and send it back.
They said "Keep it" and quickly processed my refund.
I sanded down the sharp parts and my 14 yo bangs away on it now and then.

It's at his mother's/my ex wife's house, so can't get pix now. But it was just one of those unnamed basses off eBay, in natural color, and except for the damage, LOOKED nice. View one of those listings, and imagine it being shipped in a box JUST big enough to fit the bass on length, width and thickness, and then packed with three little useless pieces of styrofoam, and bounced off some harder edges on it's trip to you.
