Double Bass Ebay Baroque Bows

I'm curious about an economical option for experimenting with Baroque bass bows. I know a few violinists who have had decent experiences with eBay Baroque bows, and I've seen some talk on this topic in other threads.

Does anyone have any experience with these bows? Good or bad? Any reviews?

I tried the ebay baroque bow and they are absolutely awful. Be careful; these do NOT function like their professionally made counterparts.

It’s better to spend the money right from the start at a reputable dealer/maker rather then throw your money away on a cheep bow and find out that it needs to be replaced.

I own a professionally made baroque bow, and I’ve also seen several professionally made Baroque bass bows (both underhand and overhand). These are very differently constructed and balanced .

Good luck on your search.

They are very well made at a good value.
